Welcome to Orchard Hill! This beautiful community is located in North Omaha, Nebraska and is known as one of the city's oldest neighborhoods with some of the city’s oldest houses. In fact, Orchard Hill is home to two historic properties that are almost 120 years old (one built in 1889 and the other in 1891)!
Once the site of a quaint apple orchard from the earliest settlement Omaha, today Orchard Hill is not only one of the most dynamic neighborhoods in the area, but it is filled with rich history and distinct homes. Driving through Orchard Hill you will find many ranch, bungalows, Queen Ann and American foursquare style homes. The Orchard Hill Neighborhood Association is working diligently to increase retail development as well as the restoration of the area. Students of Orchard Hill attend Omaha Public Schools or the several nearby private schools, and residents are not far from many of the local attractions in the area such as Midtown crossing, churches and local parks.
